Support without Walls
At Todd Steven and Associates, Inc., we believe that all persons deserve opportunities to experience their citizenship, to earn an income, and to be a contributing member of their community. Our professional team supports individuals who have difficulty accessing their community to engage in these everyday privileges. We assist individuals with disabilities to locate and take advantage of community-based resources.
To us, Support Without Walls means we encourage individuals to become increasingly self-reliant by identifying and using their own capabilities with the support of existing resources within their communities.

Vocational Assistance
Todd Steven and Associates, Inc. assists individuals with disabilities to clearly define their employment interests and goals. We collaborate with area employers to assist our clients in procuring meaningful employment within their community. We support individuals desiring self-employment by assisting them in exploring income-producing opportunities and in negotiating the complexities to achieve success.
- Locate and support at a volunteer site to gain work experience.

TSA has very professional staff providing support for this program and they have shown great success in reaching the consumers’ goals. Community Connections serves a culmination of areas in assisting the consumers with developing the proper skills and abilities to independently utilize resources within the community.

 

Community Connections is designed to assist consumers in reaching their dreams of getting involved in a hobby or volunteering for a local organization. This program is also used to assist consumers with developing and maintaining safe and healthy relationships. 

 

Community Connections promotes independence within the community. There are many organizations throughout the Oshkosh, Neenah/Menasha area where consumers are independently volunteering their services to help the community. This program also assists in developing awareness for people with varying abilities throughout the communities.

 

Recently, TSA has incorporated this program with the vocational aspect of the company. We develop a schedule where the consumer will become more engaged in the community to strengthen their socialization skills. This strengthens the consumers’ confidence and self esteem needed for their vocational futures.
